Based on the feedback received after the recent v2.2 release, we’ve put together a new PHP Melody update (patch). Version 2.2.1 will address the issues that have crept into the 2.2 release.
Existing customers can download the v2.2.1 update from the customer area (available under ‘Download Updates‘).

Even though we’ve been quiet for a while, we hope you will enjoy this latest iteration and its improvements. 2014 is not over yet and we hope to surprise you with a new collection of themes and other PHP Melody improvements.

Time to take another sneak peek at some new features from the upcoming PHP Melody v2.2. This one has been a popular suggestion for some time and we’ve managed to bring it to life just in time for this month’s update.
As the title suggest, PHP Melody v2.2 will include significant improvements in the YouTube importing department. They are: search filtering (using all available API filters) and keyword & user subscriptions.
Starting with v2.2 you’ll be able to subscribe to your frequent YouTube searches, as well as YouTube users and easily track, import & access any new content based on these subscriptions. This feature allows us to build upon it other cool things, but for now we invite you to check out today’s sneak peek.

With PHP Melody v2.2 development work approaching to an end, we’ve decided to share a neat little enhancement which will make life that bit easier. Bear in mind that this is just one of many improvements.
The upcoming release will include a drag & drop category sorting option. No more fiddling around with mouse clicks and database changes.
