Is PHP Melody easy to install and setup?
It truly doesn't matter whether you're an expert or not. No matter what age you are, installing PHP Melody couldn't be easier. The detailed instruction manual, the online video tutorials and the 3 step installation process will help anyone install PHP Melody on any hosting account.

Can I use Dreamweaver to directly edit the layout?
Of course. PHP Melody uses the best template engine: Smarty. This means that you can use any HTML editor to change the layout as if you would with any plain HTML. It also allows you to integrate PHP Melody into your existing website while keeping the same exact layout your visitors are used to.

Can I freely edit the php code?
Yes. We don't encrypt any of our files because we'd rather give you the advantage of being able to customize your site. This of course doesn't mean you can remove our copyright notice from the files.

I may need help with this. How much would that cost me?
Customer support is free. Any problems you may have with our products will be taken care of by our support team (Andrew and Paul). We also have an open forum where customers can post problems and get help.

Do I need to buy a dedicated server for PHP Melody?
No. The coolest part about PHP Melody is that you don't have to pay those ridiculous monthly hosting fees. The videos that power PHP Melody are taken from YouTube and you can choose to host the thumbnails or not. A hosting account with 100 MB would be more than enough for PHP Melody.

For how long do you offer free updates?
Updates are essential and we can't imagine why anyone would charge money for these. Any future updates will cost you $0 (that's right - zero dollars).

No. By purchasing PHP Melody you only acquire 1 license, valid for 1 domain name. You are allowed to test PHP Melody on a separate domain name before you make your site. If you want to install PHP Melody on more than 1 domain you will have to purchase additional licenses. Discounts are available so please contact us right now if you need extra licenses.

Can I remove the 'Powered by' link from the footer?
We don't allow this, however if you really have to remove the link for any reason, please contact us about this matter. Removing the copyright footer link without our permission will void any technical support. Future updates won't be sent to site owners that have removed the footer link without our permission.
