With PHP 7.x coming to the end of life for support and patches, we will be soon seeing all hosting companies adopt PHP 8 as their default PHP runtime.
We’re working hard to update both our code and 3rd party libraries (which were not updated) to PHP 8.1. Our release schedule is on track and we’re happy to announce we will be releasing PHP Melody 3.1 with full PHP 8.1 support.
This release will include other bug fixes as well but no new features. Those are reserved post this release.
This week we’re in the final stages of testing the code which will be made available next week (if all goes well).
