PHP Melody v2.2

Happy Friday everyone!

We've just published a new PHP Melody version; just in time for the weekend

If you're already a customer you can download version 2.2 right now. Just log into your customer area account and go to 'Download Updates' for the update pack, or 'Download products' if you want to create a new video site with v2.2.

Version 2.2 comes with a new feature we're particularly happy about: video playlists. As for other changes and the entire v2.2 changelog, visit the 'Release notes' page.

We hope you'll enjoy this new PHP Melody version.

[*] The PHP Melody themes have also been updated to accommodate those new features. Be sure to download & use the new ones otherwise you won't see any changes.
[*] This update can only be applied to video sites using PHP Melody v2.1.
[*] Mobile Melody has not been updated yet but an update is in the works.

@maniaka55 - Perhaps the /include/functions.php was not uploaded correctly. Try to re-upload the file(s).

Apologies. Looks like in the update pack we overlooked the one change in /config.php.

To fix this, open /config.php

Find:

Code: Select all

error_reporting(E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE &  ~E_STRICT);

Before, add:

Code: Select all

define('_ADMIN_FOLDER', 'admin');

P.S. The update package was patched.

Re-download the whole update pack (it was updated just now) & re-upload /admin/db_update.php because the database update process was interrupted in your case.

Hi Andrew,

great working on this update, thank you!
I get a 500 internal server error when I try to update the database.

It says it should only take a few seconds, but it seems to take too long.
Am I doing something wrong here?
