Yes, that's the issue. The FREE license key doesn't do anything other than give you some basic Analytics in your JW Player account.

It does NOT disable their logo or allow watermarks.

UPDATE:

There was a small issue with JW Player 6 and locally or remotely hosted videos which has been solved today thanks to surafelm's help.

I advice everyone to re-download and apply the v2.0.1 patch as the following files were updated:

/ajax.php
/embed.php
/include/functions.php

In addition, we took this opportunity to update JW Player (6) to its latest version: v6.5.

I apologize for any inconvenience. At least the issues have been solved.

I have a question though.
I have done quite a few changes on my page.
So do you have a list of everything that has been replaced and added in all the files?
Or do I have to go though them myself?
If you could include that with every new release, that'd be very helpful and much appreciated.

Also, there's a bug on the website.
When I download the script using google chrome, the message that says "we have sent an email..." isn't there.
Nothing but the blank window with a close button.
Works in firefox though

Both player.tpl and /include/functions.php both have been altered. The complete list of changed files can be found by opening the v2.0.1 archive.

In this case, you'll have to use a file comparing software such as Beyond compare (paid) or Winmerge (free) to compare your existing files with the ones from the patch. This will allow you to compare the two versions side-by-side and selectively "import" the changes into your existing files.

I would like to ask a question?
How can I use my 2.0 database with (v2.0.1) without going back to 2.0
I did do the new release 2.0.1
All went well with the install...
But the database with the new release has almost nothing..
I want to use the Old database with 2.0.1
I know the forum isn't for emergency stuff...
I 'm just looking for an answer or resolution so I can move on ..
Don't think this warrants a ticket.
Any help would be appreciated,

Thanks. I know what files you've edited, but like Luis said- "I made my edits".
Don't you have a lost with all the changes you have made in each file?
Like "find x, replace x with y" and so on?

Btw, I'm using Ubuntu. Those apps were Windows only.

Can you explain what i'm doing wrong? The manual for melody hasn't changed since 2.0 but everything was working on 2.0 prior to the update.

A workaround would be removing mobile melody from the config file and give jwplayer mobile permission. I don't know how to do this, but I know it's possible.
Any idea?
