Login Problem with customer community
6 posts • Page 1 of 1
You can't login to the forums with SeaMonkey Portable Web Browser, every time I tried to log in to the forum the login program told me that the user name and/or password was incorrect. I can login with FireFox no problem, they are both Mozilla products so I can't figure why I can't login with SeaMonkey which is my preferred browser because it has web browsing, email and a web page editor rolled into one program. SeaMonkey is the new version of the old Netscape Navigator.
I would have posted this in the bugs forum but it is locked.

Thanks for the report.
I've downloaded Seamonkey Portable and i can log in just fine.
Check your settings to make sure you're allowing cookies to be stored on your computer/stick.
You can re-install (if possible) since this clean installation works perfectly for me.

Mine still does not work and I have the latest version, I don't have my copy of the program on a stick it is installed on my hard drive.
I mostly use Portable Apps on my computer because when you install them they do not write to the registry and to uninstall just delete the directory no junk left behind no slowing down your computer by a bunch of un-used left behind registry entries and other files.
Thank you for your help, I will solve my problem by using FireFox to use your customer area and forum.
