PHP Melody Update 1.3

Today we have release our second major update for PHP Melody.

Since we've added a lot of new features we named it 1.3.

Here are some of the new features we added to version 1.3:

1. Users can suggest videos from Youtube and submit them for approval.
2. Users can now keep a list of favorite videos that can be made either public or private.
3. Users can perform an extensive update on their profile.
4. The default avatar is now based on gender.
5. Visitors can now see the rating stats for any video.
6. Visitors can bookmark videos directly to their favorite social bookmarking site.
7. Video of the day has a title and link to the video page.
8. The site admin can choose whether to show the number of video views from Youtube or from his own site.
9. The site admin can edit any user’s profile and also remove unsuitable avatars.
10. The site admin can add any site tracking code to PHP Melody directly from the admin area (Google Analytics, Sitemeter, etc).
11. The site admin can choose to display ‘videos of the day’ from only one category.
12. When importing new videos from Youtube, the site admin can select whether to auto-populate the fields or not and also limit the number of results to display.
13. When editing a video the site admin can choose to re-download the thumbnails. This is useful when the Youtube video ID has changed.
14. Admin can now choose to see more than the last 20 videos or members.


You must absolutely install this update to keep your copy of PHP Melody secure and up to date.
