PHP Melody v2.5 (November, 2015)

We have a HOTFIX available to patch the reported issues from v2.5:

- Language/Translation dropdown from the footer was not working (JavaScript issue)
- "Suggest video" page not working (JavaScript issue)
- Bug with the new "Categories" page in the Square theme
- No "Import" button on the "YouTube Channel Import" page (back-end)
- Video JS was missing the 'Play' button

If you're updating or installing PHP Melody v2.5 after this posts' date you will not have to apply this HOTFIX because our products have been updated.

Updated: A new hotfix package is available in this thread (scroll down).

Nice update. But "how to display home page category based list of videos? with navigation button" same like your demo.

I've sent tickets already but just noting it here that there were some issues with "Import from User" page. Looks like some CSS or non matching divs issue that interfere with the functioning of the page a little.

UPDATE: Thanks for your response to my tickets on this. I am glad it all worked out.

There have been two additional bugs reported since the previous HOTFIX.

- Suggest page issue (Reported here: viewtopic.php?f=62&t=12495&p=64169#p64169)
- Filtering option on the 'Top Videos' page (filtering by category).

Both bugs were patched today and I'm including the updated HOTFIX here.
Files updated today: ajax.php, suggest.php and topvideos.php

I suggest you to have the hot fixes saved in the forum, in a special subforum, or in the customer area.
I doubt that all clients follow all posts. If they dont see the hot fixes they simple have no idea on them and on any error they have to overwrite all files.

Yes, this is certainly the case. Usually we would have released v2.5.1 today but since we're less than a month away from the next update a HOTFIX is just as good.

I will announce the availability of this HOTFIX to all our customers shortly.

Before the update video pages looked like this in google search results:

VIDEO TITLE
VIDEO PAGE URL
VIDEO DESCRIPTION

After updating to 2.5 they look like this:

VIDEO TITLE
VIDEO PAGE URL
VIDEO UPLOADED TIMESTAMP - SITE TITLE - Log in / Register x ... VIDEO TITLE resize

The description is not fetched. How can i fix this?

EDIT: I see that the sitemaps look like they are supposed to. Maybe google are just slow to update from the pinged sitemaps.
