Coming soon: PHP Melody v1.9

PHP Melody v1.9 is right around the corner with a beta test coming later this week (TBA). If all goes well, version 1.9 will be officially released on February 21st.

This update might seem too close to v1.8.1 but keep in mind that v1.8.1 was an unplanned update.

A list of improvements and new features is available in this blog post.

Since development is still ongoing, the features list is somewhat incomplete. Additional improvements are on their way.

Its been a great effort from developer side in making php melody better and better after every release. Many Many regards.!!

One error i found last day was when i check status for more than 20 videos in verision 1.81 it doesn't work. Check dead video status for videos only work upto selections for 20 videos and not working for 40,50,70,100 selections.. please consider this suggestion and fix this error in next update.

Do we still have to update to 1.8.x before updating to 1.9?
Rather can we directly upgrade from 1.6.x to 1.9?
Will the artist field be part of this release?

Good point praveen. we need to upgrade directly from 1.6.x to 1.9 or new installation directly to 1.9.
also it will be great if artist filed be part of this release.

- there will be for sure a direct 1.9 installation.
- a direct updated from 1.6.x to 1.9 will take a lot as step by step update. in fact is the same if you read a 15 pages document at once or different 4 or 5 updated instructions.
an automatic update it would be better for future versions.
