They are not going to back off untill they sucked the last cent out of him, I guess that's why they call it "paying" respect, "paying" being the key word.
It's sad. It only goes to show how morally bankrupt our society has become and how widely accepted that already is. Some of the stories and some of the comments I've seen since he passed away are sickening.
This guy has been exploited by the very media and people that are now paying tribute to him in this media circus of decadence with the pompous Golden Coffin. What's next? A pyramid?

That's right. All the big record companies who hold rights to his songs are cashing in, and even the little guys re trying to cash in @ Ebay, Kijiji, Craigslist, and other listings.

We are in a sick society when you charging $3000 on Ebay for tickets to go to the services...
