Road Map

Question for Andrew.

Is there a road map you could share for the proposed version updates?

I realize you recently released 1.6.3 and I'm very happy with it but wanted to ask before I start to get serious with modifying the sites. I also realize setting a calendar and meeting it can be problematic so I would be happy to know "ballpark" dates as well.

My pleasure Scott.

We haven't set any dates because when we set dates we get stressed and things don't turn out as they should

However, what I can tell you is that we've recently started work for version 1.7 (only the planning stage) and it will take a couple of months to come up with a pre-release version.

As you may know version 1.7 will have a brand new, rewritten framework but also the option of importing data from existing PHP Melody installations to avoid any interruptions.

It's a lot of work and we've decided to work as much as we can ...for quality and nothing else.

Version 1.6.4 will be out this week. However, this release will only patch existing PHP Melody problems without any new features.
