Can I make a movies online streaming website use PHP Melody?

Hello,

I am looking for a software solution that allow me to build an online movies streaming. Such as hulu.com or netflix.com or dramafever.com and many other online movies and video streaming. Would it be possible to use PHP Mdelody to build a website like those website I mention above? I have hosting servers ready to serve the bandwidth traffic, just need a software solution.
I am going to make the purchase anyways to test out the software. But I just want to get some ideas from the community.

Welcome to the forums.

Yes, you can certainly use PHP Melody to create such a site. Depending on your project's requirements some customization may be required but the 'platform', so to speak, is there.

In the last 6 years I tested many video scripts. Overall, the most I liked was PHPmelody, mainly for its simplicity in use.
PHPMelody isn't a bloated full of "features" coded only to appear on the website but with no functionality. It is carefully designed and crafted already - i think - in the last almost 8 years.

Indeed, it allows you to add the direct path of the video files, by using the direct path in the PHPMelody. And many other features you may use of course.

Here is my concern, I need to get a template that is some what similar to hulu or netflix ish. Do you know where I can make the purchase for such templates? If not, who can i contact to hire as our web developers that have experiences with PHP Melody in the past to develop our website?

At the moment there are no such plans for the immediate future. We do recognize the opportunity but lack the skills to create a cross-platform app for PHP Melody.

In regard to your theme requirements, the Cinema theme was inspired by Hulu.com (an earlier version).
