POLL: Do you use the 'Article Module'?

I've been thinking about this RSS thing and experimenting a bit.
It's pretty easy to write your own RSS aggregator, this is just a rough sketch for now

Doesn't need or clutter your database either, that can very easily become an issue.
No problems updating, no cron jobs necessary, always the latest stories.
BUT
Most sources only will give short snippets and you're supposed to visit the site to read the entire article.
Most sources also do not allow republishing of their feeds. So that's an issue as well.

You could even use a google reader API script.

I use it for the Terms of Services, Privacy Policy, and other notes. I have not used it for publishing anything else yet.

Instead of an article based module why not allowing users to have there own blog. I wish the HTML editor was easier to use. Allow users to blog in there own profile page. The article module is great cause you can use it to market your own videos. I use it to market upcoming movies. The only problem is that it takes up loads of time and there arn't enuff options. This is where the blog would help. You get content from users everyday which google loves. Just an idea...

I am currently using it for Site update news and special announcements regarding the site. I think it would be very useful if you could be better organized, something similar to a category function.

Also making it more visible and prominent on the site could make it more useful though this might be more a theme issue than a function issue. I hope to see this feature worked our more in the future as I would like to use it on my sight as another hub for media for my visitors.

It would be great if the users can click a button that allows them to create their own article.
Their articles are display on their profile.
They have the ability to edit (Edit the content, change the category section) and delete their articles.
They also able to view how many people red their articles, who was the last person that comments on their articles.
But they do not have the authority to edit and delete other articles that is not theirs including the website owner's article.
Their article also has a rating feature. The highest rating and reader, it becomes the hottest article. Of course the hot article should not be up there for more than a week or (days set by the admin).
