URA and the Dreamhost/Curl Issue

I am interested in buying URA. I have joined the forum to read a forum post I found on Google about URA and Dreamhost's disabling of the fopen function (for security reasons, as do a number of hosts) and the requirement that curl is used instead - but I can't access that post. So at the risk of repetition for those that can access it (owners only?), allow me to ask the question again.
Does URA provide for the use of Curl, or is it wholly written around fopen and therefore cannot be hosted with Dreamhost without user mods?
I don't really need another host right now, and I don't like to modify a bought commercial script because that greatly complicates routine updates, so your answer will pretty much decide whether I buy URA or not.
Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the forums.
I answered your e-mail but i'm not going to remove this topic since i think others will find it useful.
Yes, URA works with cURL and there shouldn't be any problems with Dreamhost.
If there is, we will gladly help and also if the problem can't be solved we'll refund your order (if requested).
All in all, there's no reason to worry since we'll be here to help.
