I've just changed from Wordpress to PHP Melody.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Try changing the colors of your video player in the admin panel so they match the colors of your site. The video player is now yellow-ish while your site is mainly red.

I agree with Trace. A custom skin would be nice all together with a nice player watermark.
In the same time I would love a nicer logo (stylish motorbike or such), something you should use as watermark on videos too. In such way you will begin to create your own brand.

Regarding the player: it is better to have different colors for the progress bar and tool elements (play, pause) as yours is full red.

Another question on Social login, is there also a free way/tutorial to login with G+, twitter and facebook?

There is a Facebook Login in the forums made some time ago, but have no idea if it still working after the recent Facebook Api change.
Concerning the Google and Twitter Logins they are commercial, have no idea if there is some free versions.

How to get the JW Player skins working: Replace the Zenics player template with the stock template player.tpl. You'll be able to change the skin. Developer forgot to update the player.tpl in the Zenics and Ozenyx template.

At this point, beware of Mods of any kind. You already found out that one mod you already have really isn't for you. Learn the software. Work with the Mod writers in here and ask them what is best for you after you lay out your requirements. But, most of all, learn the stock PHPMelody. It'll save you a lot of time and heartache in the near future.

Ok thanks! Though I'm missing more real mod/pluginss from phpsugar, just like wordpress community is doing.
Just activate the plugin and your ready the go, now when you have "mods" you have to change the core files, same as the phpmelodytemplates.com, where you need to overwrite the core php files outside the template folder, that *ucks

Trace is working on something along those lines. Should make it much easier to add a mod in the future.

Wow that would be nice! I'm already out of sync with the core files cause of the theme from phpmelodythemes. I hope he can update his themes so I don't have to overwrite the original php files in the root.
