What happened to the community?

I'm new to regnow, since I also own phpmelody i'm used to seeing more activity than this from the community. Wondering where everyone has gone. Have some questions and some recommendations for mods.

I implemented a comment system by copying and pasting disqus' code on to my detail page.

I'm wondering how you guys are generating sitemaps for your sites are you using software or is there a sitemap generator you've implemented to your site files?
