in fact the player plays the video. So, if you have the suitable web player you should be able to play it.
Of course, some files need some editing in order to do this.

What is the F4V file format?
Code: Select all
Starting with SWF files published for Flash Player 9 Update 3 (9,0,115,0), Flash Player can play F4V files. The F4V format is based on the format specified by ISO/IEC 14496-12: ISO base media file format. A large part of the F4V format involves metadata. When Flash Player loads an F4V file, various stream properties are made available to a running ActionScript program via the NetStream.onMetaData property. The available properties differ depending on the software used. The F4V file format supports an assortment of optional tag boxes that can occur within a moov box.

in fact are the files created by Adobe Flash Media Encoder

PHM uses JW player and Flowplayer. check the 2 websites to see if they can play this kind of files.
Moreover, virtually any web player can be integrated into PHM.

According to the offical website Jwplayer 5.2 plays this kind of file

http://www.longtailvideo.com/support/jw ... io-formats
Code: Select all
H.264 ( .mp4, .mov, .f4v )
Video in either the MP4 or Quicktime container format. These files must contain video encoded with the H.264 codec and audio encoded with the AAC codec. H264/AAC video is today’s format of choice. It can also be played on a wide range of (mobile) devices.
