PHP Melody v1.8.1

i have problem now with update now when i try to g on my pages it s say
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare smarty_art_html_list_categories() (previously declared in /home/videokok/public_html/include/settings.php:479) in /home/videokok/public_html/include/article_functions.php on line 2213
and also all my template have some problem ruby template what i will do now?

Version 1.6 had way more problems than v1.8 considering how much code has been changed since 1.6.7

The 99% of the problems reported here about v1.8.1 were caused by a small mistake on my part when creating the patch. I compared the fixes (changed code) to an already patched 1.8 Admin Area and failed to notice the JQuery fix (for the Admin Area).

This experience also serves as a reminder for owners of large PHP Melody powered sites. It's best to wait at least 48 hours before applying any patch. This problem shouldn't appear in regular updates since those will be "beta-tested" to the moon and back.

Sorry about this guys, everything has been today You can re-download the v1.8.1 patch if you're late at the v1.8.1 party.

Now we can all relax a bit for the weekend.

Ok, it was my mistake because i`m always in a rush. Sorry for posting all this problems without searching myself a way to fix them.

About 2 years ago i was searching for the errors and i was fixing myself, but now i don`t have time anymore and i kind forgot a lot of things.

I know it`s hard with this updates but at least we thank you for this great product

I have been waiting for two days but nobody is eager to help me. Please I need help. After updating my melody from 1.8 to 1.81. I faced some problems.
First, in the admin panel check status option is not working anymore.
Second, for the articles and pages module, the tet editor is not available. ı cant add or edit.
Please show me the way.

@gencaver - your browser still uses the newer version of jQuery from cache.
You should do a browser force refresh. Hold the SHIFT key and click on the Refresh Page icon in your browser.

Just updated to the latest version v1.8.1 and when my thumbnails or links are clicked, the videos are all NOT FOUND.

Thank you...it's on though...I figured out what I did wrong...I didn't update the .htaccess as I thought it may conflict. The videos and links are working fine now.

This v1.8.1 update messed up my Email Templates?

It only has an html and txt file for EMAIL SEND TO FRIEND and it works good.

The rest, if I include my old PHP FILES + the TXT files from v1.7, it shows my html coding to my Members emails.

If I remove the PHP files, Members do not receive any emails.

***UPDATE***

Emails now sending, but cannot customize it anymore with HTML like in the previous version. If anyone knows how the HTML works so the email does not look so dull, I'd appreciate it.
