The funny thing about this is there after people out of the country or that steal content. So people that embed youtube videos this does not apply because its not in your database. They have to go back to the provider.

Its all stupid and these SOPA people are gonna have one big riot against them. SOPA go fall off the planet.

That's your opinion. If SOPA bill gets passed, the entertainment industry will abuse it and go after every site that shares video content. Take a look at how they're abusing the DMCA bill.

First the bill will never pass they have only a few votes. Second Reddit.com one of the speakers thats against the bill said it will take 3 to 5 years for any changes or even a bill to pass. Even if it did pass you just need to watch copyright material thats all.

Real simple dont steal peoples stuff LOL.

They'll go after your site even if they don't have copyright for the contents you share. Take a look at the example of case between MegaUpload and UMG:

Here's some cases:
Universal Music Group went after MegaUpload.com's advertisement video because they didn't like how MegaUpload hired artists to promote a video sharing company. So they abused the DMCA and took the video down from youtube and other sites. MegaUpload took them to court to get answers UMG vs MegaUpload

Here's another interesting read. UMG went after a mother because her baby video had a copyrighted music playing in the background.

SOPA won't pass in its current state but they'll modify it and keep trying until it passes.

The good news is that it will help derail SOPA. If they government can reach all the way into Singapore with a South African Sever then the need for SOPA isn't necessary.

Megauploads isn't the only one, just the worst and most prevalent. Look for Youtube to be next.

This is why I have tried to get as much local stuff as possible. The day is coming.

MegaUpload needs to write some cheques to the U.S. politicians and things will be back to normal. That's how Entertainment industry bought this ruling.

Well megaupload.com was doing illegal stuff. BIG TIME....

Youtube will never shut down there too big. Looking now at SOPA there falling fast they lost 3 more votes. Pretty much on the latest from reddit.com they have nothing left but this PIPA is interesting.......

All of the downloaded music websites will get sued or shutdown no matter what.
