Article Teaser Size

Not sure what happened, but on my article landing page, it displays the full article. On the PHP Melody demo, it shows the teasers on the article landing page, then the full article on the main article page. Is there a setting somewhere that I need to set so the full article doesn't display on landing and category pages? thanks.

here's an update to a discovery of the solution I found.

{$article.content}
Places entire article content in that area, including the 1st photo and formatting of links, style, etc.

{$article.excerpt}
Places the excerpt of the article in the area. No formatting or pictures come through

{smarty_fewchars s=$article.content length=500}
Brings in the content, along with the photos and style, link, etc. But you can limit it by the enclosed attribute. 500 seems like a decent size.

When you make a article in your admin panel, use "Delimeter" (The button on the right side of the "HTML" button).
Everything on top of this line will show on your article landing page, everything show on the article detail page.
