Question with traffic in the site

My website of videos works well always, but I'm having problems when my site has many visitors.

He is slow some times and the page loads but does not open.

I wonder if the script has some limitation or how I could optimize it for better performance using less resources so that the site does not 'crash'.

The server works well, is optimized and is reserved solely for him.

Phpmelody doesn't have such limitations but of course you may rewrite many functions to optimize it.

You need to move your site to a better hosting. Site is slow because of the hosting you're on.

No. The server is very good! Tested and optimized! I think the problem is on the remote license verification.

I've talked to the manager of server, Jefferson (perhaps some here know), and he assured me that it probably is it.

I could talk to someone responsible for this? For a local license, since I paid for the license of the script and it's damaging me.

How could I solve this?

I really needed solve it because my site crashes and sometimes does not open.

This happens sometimes and is holding. It is not server problem.

It's not a PHP Melody issue. I had the same issue when I was on a shared hosting. I had high number of visitors (60,000 per day) and I had to upgrade to dedicated server. You might want to upgrade your server memory and see how the site performs.

So ... I discovered that this is not the amount of visits.

With very or few visitors this happens.

I think it is a problem in the script that is holding.

The only thing I can think of creating the heavy load is the captcha protection image for the comments.
It is generated with the GD library and that can take quite some server memory.

i discous this error to my hosting provider . they cheek all the setting and reply that your site made more then 75000 sql query in an hour and our max limit is 75000 so that's why your site got crash. they suggest that i should optimize my site and use w3 cashe on my site or upgrade to VPS

My question is

No 1 how it is possible, my site has only 60 to 120 user at a time how can they make 75000 or greater sql query in a hour?
No 2 how can i install w3 cashe plugin in my CMS
No 3 how can i optimize my site?

The answer:

1. I have a client of modmyscript.com hosted by me that has around 175.000 of visitors per day. Phpmelody works fine. ... And it serves 75% local stored content.
Of course, for sure the SQL can be optimized all the time but it simply works.
2. W3 cache is only for WordPress as you know. On my dedicated, my phpmelody clients run their websites on Apache and as cache we use nginx and around 10 DNS servers accross world that serves the content. Nginx works as a cache server as well. It deals with over 100.000 visits easily.
3. There is server side optimization, see point 2 and probably you can easily move some local resources to some fast CDN.

PS: Since 2009 I met many that are trying to run websites and earn some money by hosting their websites on 10 USD per month websites that limit everything.
All of us have to know that there is a time when we have to invest money and knowledge once our website become famous.

All shared accounts have limits and the resources are, guess, shared accross all the clients.
Of course you may choose a VPS. you have to know that even if the vos offers you - for instance KVM - dedicated core or memory, many hosting companies won't let you abuse of the cpu cores.

Therefore, I recommend you dedicated solution . my two cents after many years of working with phpmelody and hosting
