Andrew said the 1.7 release was pushed to later this year. Will this framework be included with 1.7?

@jonty
it is running on some websites from people i made custom mods for.
right now the framework is not useful since there aren't any plugins available for it yet

Don't you think you should/could make it available to those people that could make plugins.. like me ;)
With a couple of plugins that we are not allowed to use on our sites, but that we will need to figure out how exactly it works.

Thanks.
I am very busy at the moment so the project is temporarily on hold, but I will continue working on this and hopefully release it within the next 2 or 3 months :)

@Trace I'm glad Andrew is making the framework part of PM. The website looks great too btw. Did you code the site yourself from scratch too?

@Trace will it be easy for melody sites using a premium template to implement the framework without messing up their site? And are their any specific instructions for installing/using the framework with non-default templates? I'm trying to understand the impact and effect of this framework and what it means for melody sites when it becomes a core part of the script.

The framework does require a few template files edits (3 or 4), but it isn't hard to do this for premium templates. People can always contact me for their template and I'll do my best to supply the required files.
If you use a template such as zenics or ozenyx, which do edit a few PHP Melody files, it is of course required that the framework has those edits as well. In the future if anyone makes a template which requires extra PHP code, the idea is that they can do this via the framework.

About the website, yes it is custom code built from scratch :) glad you like it. Didn't do the design myself since I'm useless at such things :P

Alright thanks for the explanation Trace. I must admit your coding skill is awesome, you really know this stuff. It's an advantage to have you here in the PM community, and you've always been consistent unlike those that disappear after making a few bucks. I look forward to doing business with you again. Keep up the good work!
