I don't know if it's possible as Andrew and Paul seem to be a bit AWOL right now but your best way is to contact them in the customer area and request it to be added to your download area.

But I suggest you don't upgrade at this time. V3 isn't what you think it is. I suggest you setup a test site and take a good hard look at it first to see if it's what you really want. It lacks many of the features that V2.73 has that I require.

My YouTube player will not go into full screen mode after the update. It shows "Fullscreen unavailable"

If I change the player from the youtube player to my player it works, but it wont play on an apple browser. Here are the settings:

Default video player: Video JS
You Tube: Using youtube player because of issue.

Also, I am having trouble with facebook and twitter login. Can't login from either. You can try that too at the site. I made a few changes and it goes further than before. May be a security issue at this point since I don't have an ssl certificate yet.

Also, when I click on the contact link on the bottom of the page, I get this message:

Not Found
The requested URL /contact.html was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Also, none of the social links work at the bottom of the page. Just goes to top of page.

Other than that, the new updates seem great so far! I hope you can help. I appreciate any help!

You must edit the template file footer.tpl lines 32-35

Check the template folder for those. tpl files.

I agree with dhunt. Since 2008 I am using phpmelody. I never upgraded on the spot. Install it on a test server and test it.

I hate to be a buzzkill, but the admin area in V3 seems totally messed up. I cannot see any setting because the links show nothing. It is all empty. So, I had a perfectly functional site. By just upgrading, I got nothing. For one thing, I lost all my videos because the new upgrade would not work with the old database. Has anyone upgraded to V3?

Unfortunately, no. I just use new installs.

BUT, for sure you have a backup. There are already 11 years of just keeping saying the same thing: create a clone of your website and upgrade there and make some testing. Once it is fine, upload it to the production one.

Well, you are right. I did not have a back up, but I re-install the old version with the old database.

Anybody heard from Andrew or the Phpmelody crew? It seems eary quiet after such a big update. See issues here that have not been resolved.
