Upload error 0777 and Bad file type

Hi
since two weeks trying to fix this problem.if upload from ADMIN this msg will come

Could not retreive the name of the uploaded file. Make sure the "/admin/tmp.pm" file has the required permissions (0777) and then try uploading the video again.

same file uplad from Member area will be the msg :BAD FILY TYPE

we have set the file 777 in the server as you request.and I spent more then one houre with the hoster.
so still we have the same problem.

I have gone thru in the Forum and find out this same problem has some one else too.

Since this hosting provider restricts the type of permissions you can set, upload your videos with a FTP client and use the "Direct Input" method from PHP Melody's admin area.

THIS WAY WE CAN AS ADMIN UPLOAD BUT HOW ABOUT THE MEMBERS HOW THEY UPLOAD THE VIDEOS ?
