Some good news to start the week right. We've just released PHP Melody v3.0

I've compiled a complete list of features on our blog. Please check out the announcement.

To save you some time, we've made it possible to upgrade any PHP Melody v2.7.x installation directly to v3.0. For example, if you're running v2.7.1, you can apply the v3.0 update directly.

As usual, I am happy to help any customer who needs assistance updating their site(s). Please drop us a message and we will be happy to help.

You are getting error because of this;

Mixed Content: The page at '<URL>' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure script '<URL>'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

You are calling HTTP files over HTTPS.

Congrats on the new version! I haven't used this script in a long time, stopped back to see this new version as it has peaked my interest.

I briefly looked over the new features, was wondering if there was any automatic social promotion? One script I work with has a really nice automatic social promotion feature where it automatically posts new content to Twitter and Facebook.

Good luck with the new version! In the cut throat world of php scripts and the domination of social media, it's nice to see you guys still around, that says a lot about your commitment to the project.

You need to update the URL from your config.php file as well.

It should being with https://

One script I work with has a really nice automatic social promotion feature where it automatically posts new content to Twitter and Facebook.

We certainly could build this feature for a future update. But such a feature was not requested more than a handful of times :\

If you have some time in the future to work on a social promotion plugin that would be great. On another site I own, I get a ton of traffic from the promotions to social media for my video section.

We've had a couple of reports from customers using CloudFlare, local caching or auto CSS & JS compressing.

If your admin area has duplicate icons in the menu (and the site looks off), you need to purge the cache. Everything will be fine afterwards.

Strange issue, but easy fix.

Points can be used to race, which one has the most for the month?
Points can be sponsored for your channels or clips.

Will there be a Responsive version of Ruby? I'd like to upgrade to 3.0 but I like and use the Ruby template.

In the video description (youtube import), links became active after the update. How to make links not active? as it was in PHP Melody 2.7.3
