No, it's not abandoned. Abandoned is when all traces of the author disappears. Paul will answer your questions if you email him. But it has not received any real forward motion since V3.0 was introduced other than bug fixes.

Well, in my opinion, it is abandoned because I sent two emails to support weeks ago and I have not received any response.
