It has been an unusually long day for us but I managed to explain more about what PHP Melody 1.6.5 is and how to get it in this blog post

I attempted again and changed the proxy also, but I did not success.
then my account was stopped. I sent more than message to technical support, without answer.

I just upgraded a hard modded website from 164 to 165.

So far, no errors.

In that case it isn't a "hard modded" site. And you know it. There is no way you can just upgrade without going through all previously made changes all over again in all the files you ever changed. So please, don't lie to people or tell them bullshit, before they break their sites.

Download from the customer area your updated 165 Carbon template

The default template has 2 or 3 files changed so i suppose it is the same with the Carbon template

Hi andrew, its all the template already upgraded?

I was testing PHPMELODY 165 and I put old optima template 163 or even 164 version and I've got no error and working properly.
Is that mean "no changes" on template? because no error whatsoever.....If you make changes on template (optima), whats the changes? can you tell me please?

If no changes on the template, I will using old optima 163 template, because I don't have time to redo the optima template(my version)

Otherwise I have to upgrade brand new optima 165 template

@bloon - yes the templates are upgraded as well. You can always grab the latest copies from your Customer Area account.

The "Restricted videos" feature and the FaceBook fix will not work with older templates, so you will have to use the newer files.

@mheritani - your account should be working now. I see you used all sorts of proxies. Please don't use them with our site because our system doesn't like it when you "switch countries" every minute.

Are there any "security issues" fixed in this release?
Will this be the final 1.6.x release?

I really hope you will rethink this upgrade process for 1.7, because it is a nightmare like this for anybody that has strayed of the trodden path of default site + template. You can NOT overwrite ANY files for manual upgrade, that's logical if you just think about it for 1 minute. But you just keep on doing it. Easy for you but hell for us.

You can NOT assume that somebody has NOT changed ANY of the files, including admin, therefore you have to assume ALL files could have been altered/modded. Instructions have to be given for ALL files that have changed. That's what phpBB etc have been doing for years. A file like ajax.php can not be considered safe to be overwritten because some, like me, might be using it for extra ajax functions. Their site would simply go blank. The same for functions.php etc.

Thanks Andrew, I hoped this update, what I needed most was to fix the video source Trilulilu and now seems to work well.
Also like to say to all who use this video source of a curious anecdote.
As you know, Trilulilu has blocked most videos of Universal, well, most curious is that although the videos on his website show a warning that you can not see, and to us do not work, the link .flv of the videos, if they running on the embedded player from this source, work fine.
You see that funny.
