PHP Melody 1.6 Released Today

Dear Customers and forum users,

It gives me much pleasure to announce the release of PHP Melody version 1.6. After almost two years of continued development and progress we are thankful to have such a large fan base and a product that has helped so many.

We hope the next updates will be as successful as the previous ones. Our plans for 2009 include at least one other major upgrade aka PHP Melody 1.7 and obviously any required updates for 1.6.

This version was named '1.6' mainly because it is an upgrade and not an update from the 1.5.x version; our previous release was PHP Melody 1.5.3 and the upgrade to 1.6 is compatible with 1.5.3.

Customers can now download any 1.6 package (full version, manual upgrade and automatic upgrade) from our customer area.
