Is the problem that IE10 has been addressed in it? It's been largely ignored on 1.70-1.8.1.

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for providing this update with lots of good features. I do not see a play list feature. Is there a way to have a custom playlist feature for the users in this version? I feel this is a very important and helpful feature thats missing as of now. I have received many requests from my users about a custom play list. Any helo would be great on this.

a direct updated from 1.6.x to 1.9 will take a lot as step by step update. in fact is the same if you read a 15 pages document at once or different 4 or 5 updated instructions

Rather go through a 15 page document than doing the same thing twice (or more times).

I can simply modify all the files and upload them once.

Removing the artist field is def a bad idea.. Atleast it should have been made optional during the upgrade/install process. A lot of things are dependent on this if someone has customized their melody.

Yes. Many asked us the same thing why the team decided to put away the artist field.
Unfortunately a bad idea as I see here and many good things we could create are postponed.

Hope only Andrew and Paul will finally come with a solution somehow.

I think they were trying to make it so that it was no longer JUST a music script. When all they had to do is change one word. Change Music to Video leaving the Artist Field alone.

Artist could have been renamed as User as well rather than ditching it completely.

Actually, they could have just left a blank field to be used for anything. It's good to have for search reasons when you can have a specific general category in that field that further refines the Category and Sub Category. But using the word User for it probably isn't the answer.

Agree. It simply could have been left as an optional and the same could have been asked during upgrade/install.
