This article was posted on Mashable and it&#8217;s about &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/mashable.com\/2011\/12\/16\/mobile-website-tips\/\" target=\"_blank\">why your business needs a mobile website <em>right now<\/em><\/a>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>Turns out that a mobile website is more important to a consumer than I could have imagined. Begin a tech person myself, i&#8217;ve never complained about having to do a few pinches and a few extra scrolls to get the information I needed from a regular site, while using my iPhone.<\/p>\n<p>As <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gomez.com\/resources\/whitepapers\/survey-report-what-users-want-from-mobile\/\" target=\"_blank\">this 2011 survey<\/a> shows, the consumers are a bit more picky when it comes to their<em><strong> browsing experience<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Here are a few things to remember from this particular survery:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>[&#8230;]unsatisfactory mobile web and application experiences can negatively shape a consumer\u2019s opinion of an organization.<\/li>\n<li>57% of mobile web users had a problem in the past year when  accessing a website<\/li>\n<li>46% of mobile web users are unlikely to return to a website  that they had trouble accessing from their phone and 57% are  unlikely to recommend the site<\/li>\n<li>34% said they\u2019d likely visit a competitor\u2019s mobile website instead<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To be honest, while creating Mobile Melody, we had no clue the situation was so bad.<br \/>\nHopefully the following info graphic (which was done based on a survey of over 4,000 mobile users) will help you understand, as much as it has helped us, the importance of a mobile presence whether you&#8217;re using PHP Melody or any other application for your websites.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gomez.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/CPWR-MWD-Infographic-FNL3-72dpi.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"1687\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve recently read an interesting article which I want to share with you.
