\nToday we’re introducing a new ‘default’ theme for PHP Melody. We’ve\u00a0named it Apollo <\/strong>and it\u00a0will\u00a0replace the current ‘default’ PHP Melody theme starting with v2.8 (our next release).<\/p>\n

Apollo is and\u00a0will be available (free of charge) to any PHP Melody customer (past or future).\u00a0 Speaking of future releases, the next PHP Melody update<\/strong> is scheduled for release in January 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

To download Apollo<\/strong> today, simply log into your\u00a0Customer Account<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and go to the “Download Products<\/em>” page.<\/p>\n

A couple of notes<\/strong> before you rush to install Apollo on your site.<\/p>\n

  1. Apollo is 100% responsive.<\/li>\n
  2. Apollo works with any PHP Melody 2.7.x\u00a0version.<\/li>\n
  3. Apollo is still under development. It’s stable but we’re releasing this as a beta.<\/li>\n
  4. Apollo is not yet\u00a0customizable from the admin area but it will be in v2.8.<\/li>\n
  5. Apollo has a live demo. Check it out here<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  6. If you uncover any problems or have suggestions, please use\u00a0this form<\/a> or email us\u00a0support@phpsugar.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    To install Apollo<\/strong>, download the\u00a0apollo.zip <\/strong>file from your\u00a0Customer Account<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and:<\/p>\n

    1. Unzip apollo.zip<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    2. Upload the unzipped ‘apollo-beta<\/strong>‘ folder into your installation’s \/templates\/<\/strong> folder.<\/li>\n
    3. Log into your PHP Melody admin dashboard. In the Settings<\/strong> > Layout Settings<\/strong> page you should see the new ‘apollo-beta<\/strong>‘ theme available. Select it and save the settings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      In case your\u00a0layout is not looking right after switching themes, remember to clear the theme cache<\/strong> by deleting the files from \/Smarty\/templates_c\/.<\/strong><\/p>\n
